The Gamble House provides a unique and beautiful setting for meetings, seminars, working retreats, luncheons, dinners or picnics for corporations, private or non-profit organizations and special interest groups. In keeping with our mission to promote the architecture and design of Greene & Greene to the public, all events at The Gamble House include a docent-led tour.
The House is not available for weddings, political and religious events, or other private celebratory events such as birthdays, graduations, retirement celebrations or anniversary parties.

Rear terrace and garden
The garden terrace is available for events that include food and drink service. The terrace accommodates approximately 125 people for a stand-up event, or about 70 seated. Groups of up to 300 can be accommodated on the terrace and adjacent lawn during fair-weather months.

Third-floor attic
Originally designed as a billiard room, this dramatic space, with its truss and beam ceiling and natural light on all sides, is furnished with conference style tables and comfortable upholstered armchairs. It is ideal for meetings and seminars of up to about 25 people. Food and refreshments may be arranged either in the gallery or on the garden terrace for groups using the attic.

The gallery (basement level)
This area is suitable for lunches, dinners, and receptions as well as meetings and lectures in all seasons. When arranged with round tables and chairs for lunch or dinner, it can accommodate up to 48 people. When set up buffet-style, or in lecture/presentation format, up to 60 people can be accommodated.

Times
Events must be scheduled to accommodate normal Gamble House activities. Call for details. Events may begin at 9:00 a.m. and must finish no later than 10 p.m.
Catering
The Gamble House provides a list of approved caterers. Restrictions apply.
Restrictions
- No interior photography or filming. Special permission required.
- No food inside the House except in the downstairs facility
- No loud music or highly amplified PA system
- No hard alcohol allowed (wine and beer may be served as arranged)
Requirements
- All private events must include a tour of the House.
- Visitors must wear flat or broad-heeled shoes to protect the rugs and floors. Slippers are provided to those whose shoes do not meet the required heel width.
- Caterers must be selected from the approved list.

Loud music is not permitted
Interior Photography and Video
Interior photography and filming of the House and its contents is prohibited unless arrangements are made in advance (see below). Fees apply.
Exterior photography of the House and events is permitted.
Site Fees
Meetings, lectures, retreats:
General — $850 per 8-hour day
Non-profit — $650 per 8-hour day
Luncheons, dinners, receptions:
Private groups — $3500 (catering not included)
Non-profit organizations — $950 (catering not included)
Site fees include set up and tear down, audio/visual equipment, tables, and chairs, use of warming kitchen. Partial days may be available upon inquiry.

Commercial Photography and Filming
To photograph the House interior for a book, magazine, blog, website posting, etc. special permission must be requested in advance and appropriate fees, insurance and licensing agreements signed and delivered to the business office prior to commencing.
To film/video a story about the House and the related Arts and Crafts period, special arrangements must be made in advance. This includes permissions, fees, insurance, and licensing agreements.
