    Friday, November 7, 2008, 7 p.m. at the Huntington Library, Friends Hall.
    Part of the Nov. 7-8 Huntington Conference. Free keynote lecture on Friday night; full day session on Saturday costs $10. Reservations must be made at Huntington through their website.

    Saturday, January 31, 2009, 7:30 p.m., at the Art Center College of Design's Ahmanson Auditorium. Reception will follow at The Gamble House.

  • Gardens of Hearst Castle ~ Victoria Kastner

    Saturday, May 16, 2009. The lecture will be in the afternoon, time TBA, at the Art Center College of Design's Ahmanson Auditorium. After the lecture there will be an add-on tour of a Heather Lenkin designed garden in the San Rafael Hills area of Pasadena. Details to follow.

Subscription and Ticket Information

Tickets will be available for advance purchase, with discounts for Friends of the Gamble House (FOGH) members and students. Because of the limited seating, reservations are highly recommended.

  • FOGH Members: $20 per lecture, or $55 for the whole series
  • General admission: $25 per lecture, or $80 for the whole series
  • Charles Phoenix’s Dena Dena Rino Tour: $110 for FOGH members; $125 for non-members.

The Neighborhood Church Sanctuary is at 2 Westmoreland Place, Pasadena, adjacent to The Gamble House. View directions.

The Art Center Ahmanson Auditorium is at the Art Center College of Design, 1700 Lida St., Pasadena; Google map. Please park in the student parking lot.

The 17th Annual Craftsman Weekend

Pasadena Heritage will present its annual Craftsman Weekend on October 17-19, 2008. Celebrating its 17th year this fall, Craftsman Weekend is the largest and most comprehensive salute to the Arts & Crafts Movement in the Western United States. The Weekend’s offerings will include a tours of significant Craftsman-era houses and exhibits by antique dealers specializing in the Arts & Crafts Movement.
