Using Public Transit
The Gold Line Metro Rail runs from Union Station
in downtown Los Angeles to Pasadena. The closest
stations to The Gamble House are Memorial
Park (1.1 miles away; Google Map) and Del Mar (1.5 miles away; Google map).
The Metro bus #267 picks up at the Memorial Park station and stops near the Gamble House at Rosemont and Orange Grove. For details and connecting buses, visit

From the 110 North (Pasadena Freeway):
- Take the Orange Grove Avenue off-ramp.
- Turn left and follow Orange Grove across California
and Colorado Blvd. (approx. 3 miles).
- Continue 3 blocks past Colorado to the 300 block of North
Orange Grove.
- Watch for The Gamble House signs on the left
side of the street.
From the 134 East (Ventura Freeway):
- Take the Orange Grove Boulevard off-ramp.
- Turn left onto Orange Grove and go 3 blocks.
- Watch for The Gamble House signs on the left
side of the street.
From the 210 West (Foothill Freeway):
- Follow the 210 through Pasadena to the 134 West.
- Continue on the 134 to the Orange Grove Boulevard
off-ramp.
- Turn left on Orange Grove and continue north
until you come to the 300 block.
- Watch for The Gamble House signs on the left
side.
From the 210 East (Foothill Freeway):
- Take the Colorado Boulevard off-ramp.
- Turn right on Walnut, and right again on Orange
Grove.
- Watch for The Gamble House signs on the left
side in the 300 block.
