We invite the community to enjoy an afternoon at the Gamble House, a space for creativity, contemplation and connection. Tour the house anytime between 11:00 am. to 2:00 p.m. at your own pace with knowledgeable docents in each room to answer questions. Pasadena Conservatory of Music musician Amy Rowe will be providing a lovely musical backdrop to touring from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Also join us for crafting and donation opportunities as listed below:
Crane Craft Station
Cranes, like the one hanging in the main hall symbolize many things across cultures including longevity and peace. Come share time together at the crane coloring station or crafting origami cranes which can be taken home or shared for display as a symbol of hope and healing for the community.
Mutual Aid Book Drive
Mutual Aid Bookshop (MAB) will be joining us for a donation and free bookshop pop-up to benefit those displaced and affected by the recent LA fires. MAB is accepting donations of new and gently used books for children, young adults, and adults. Monetary donations are also welcome and will go towards purchasing books to fulfill specific requests to help rebuild home libraries. Those in need are welcome to visit the pop-up to browse and choose from the available selection of books.
