Celebrate Children’s Book Week :: May 5 – May 11, 2025
Children’s Book Week is a national week-long event that celebrates books for young readers. 2025 is the 106th anniversary of this beloved program, and this year’s event slogan is An Ocean of Stories. This slogan celebrates the vast, collective ocean populated by the stories we read, share, and tell.
We’re so excited about Children’s Book Week we decided to celebrate it all month long. Grab a blanket, bring snacks, and come enjoy Storytime under the big oak on the Gamble House lawn. Mark your calendars! On May 3 Gamble House docents will be reading a variety of fun, family friendly stories. Storytime gets musical on May 17 as Pasadena Conservatory of Music brings instruments and stories to share. Free drop-in event, no reservations required.
