The Gamble House is pleased to participate in WALKTOBER PASADENA, the 8th Annual Celebration of Walking in Pasadena!

Join the Pasadena Audubon Society at the Gamble House for a bird sit.
Bird Sit begins at 8:00 a.m. on the rear lawn of the Gamble House

The Bird Sit, led by PAS Board Member Deb Tammearu, will be hosted at The Gamble House (4 Westmoreland Place, Pasadena, 91103), this Bird Sit will be a tranquil hour of stillness, focusing on identifying the birds that surround you. This is a perfect way to go birding if you prefer to remain still and love great architecture.

Please bring water, sunscreen, a lawn chair or blanket and a hat.

• The Bird Sit is approximately 1-hour and begins at 8:00 a.m. on the rear lawn of the Gamble House, under the big oak.
• There is an accessible path to the north of the Gamble House Bookstore that leads to a pocket garden. The rear lawn is not accessible.
• Bring your binoculars, we’ll also have some to loan out. The Bird Sit will only be in English.

The Pasadena Audubon Society will provide free pamphlets on birding, the organization and how to identify local birds during the event.
