PASADENA AUDUBON BIRD WALK AT THE GAMBLE HOUSE
Saturday, October 3, 2026 | Bird Walk begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Gamble House Bookstore
Pre-register HERE – Please pre-register for events to guarantee your space.
The Bird Walk will be guided by Jodhan Fine—avid birder and PAS Community Engagement Liaison—along with a Spanish-language translator, for a guided Bird Walk through the neighborhood surrounding The Gamble House. Together, we’ll look and listen for local and native species during this especially lively season of fall migration.
Bring your binoculars if you have them—extras will be available to borrow. A spotting scope will also be on hand to make it easier for everyone, especially those new to birding, to enjoy a closer look.
Please bring water, sunscreen, and a hat.
- The Bird Walk is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Gamble House Bookstore.
- The walk will be a 1-mile moderate loop with some slight inclines and dirt paths.
- Please bring water, sunscreen, appropriate walking shoes and a hat.
- This walk will be a Bilingual English/Spanish walk.
The Pasadena Audubon Society will provide free pamphlets on birding, the organization and how to identify local birds during the event.
Walktober is made possible by the City of Pasadena Dept. of Transportation, Day One, and Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition.
