Side Street Projects Spring Break 2026 | Mobile Woodworking Class at the Gamble House

Build with Side Street Projects this Spring Break in our mobile woodworking classroom! Find inspiration in the Gamble House’s Craftsman woodwork and create your own work of art. Open to ages 5 – 15, students will learn basic woodworking techniques using hand tools only, including drilling, setting screws, using clamps, hammering, and incising.

This free class is intended only for students affected by the Eaton Fire. All materials provided. Registration required.

Single Session Workshops: April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12:00-2:00pm

In this two-hour class, students will be introduced to basic woodworking techniques and have time to complete one simple project. The same curriculum will be taught each day. Please choose only one of the days to attend, to have enough capacity for everyone.

The Gamble House will offer short, guided tours of the house directly after the end of class (2:00-3:00pm). Tours are open to all workshop participants and their caregivers.
