Our 2½ hour Behind the Velvet Ropes tour takes you to parts of the House not usually accessible. You will see exquisite craftsman details up close, and have time to appreciate the ambience of this historic House.

Details & Joinery: A Craftsman’s Tour of The Gamble House is led by contemporary woodworker Jim Ipekjian. Visitors will learn how The Gamble House was crafted.

Fire & Light: The Art Glass of Greene and Greene, led by glass artist John Hamm, examines the glasswork found in the House: windows, light fixtures, wall sconces, cabinets, and doors.

Explore the neighborhood of Greene & Greene visits a National Register historic district that is home to 9 Greene & Greene houses.

1-hour Docent Guided Tours. We are open for guided 1 hour tours Thursday-Sunday. The first tour begins at noon and the last tour is at 3p.m.

A picnic opportunity at the House awaits every week on Brown-Bag Tuesdays. Bring your lunch and join us on the rear lawn and terrace from 11:30 – 1:30, and take a docent-led 20-minute tour at 12:15 or 12:45.
