Westmoreland Improvement Co., portals and gate, Pasadena 1916 – Residents of Westmoreland Place, where the Gamble and Cole houses are located, complain about the volume of sightseers. Charles designs a pair of stone portals, an iron gate, wooden signs, and curb alterations for the two driveway ends. Within a few weeks of completion, Charles moves to Carmel.
