Charles Greene studio, Carmel-by-th-Sea, 1923-24 – Charles builds a studio in Carmel, salvaging bricks from the Pacific Grove Hotel, accepting donations of free lumber from White Brothers Hardwood in San Francisco and utilizing marble left over from the D. L. James commission. This contemporary photograph shows the teak front door that Charles carved.
