Reinhart Houses
Oakland, California
1934

In 1934, Charles Greene went along with an ill-advised attempt to use a land developer as an intermediary to attract wealthy clients. The first attempt at selling a design was met with outright rejection from a prospective client named Reinhart. The scheme was dropped for a few years, then revived in 1937.
