Dr. Rosa Engelmann House
Pasadena, California
1914
The bungalow designed for Dr. Rosa Engelmann in 1914 was situated
in a developing residential neighborhood close to the new campus
of Throop College of Technology (later the California Institute
of Technology). Henry Greene designed the house, which featured
one of his ingenious space-saving devices, a tea table that
folded out from a bookcase door.
