Los Angeles, California
1912-26
While Charles Greene was designing a large house in San
Diego for Mary Marston Kew, Henry Greene drew up plans for
a tea house, pergola, and garage with chauffeur's quarters
for Dr. Robert P. McReynolds in Los Angeles. This was the
beginning of design commissions for Dr. McReynolds that would
persist through 1926, including alterations to his residence
and the design of a library.
