Frank L. Palmer House
North Pomona, California
1912
The Greenes designed a house for Frank L. Palmer in 1912, though
no evidence of its actual construction survives. Henry Greene
handled this project, likely because of his brother’s
focus on the Cordelia Culbertson project at that time. The design
shows a return to the firm’s interest in the Craftsman
idiom and includes many exterior features associated with their
earlier work, including exposed beams and rafters and structural
posts supported by stone pillars.
